Greater than

I hate math, but I love lists (and I adore Kerri), so naturally, I wanted to do this, too. Perfect for a Friday afternoon.

For me:

Coke > Pepsi
skirts > shorts
lip balm > lip gloss
oatmeal > dry cereal
Thai food > Chinese food
actual books that you can flip through the pages > Kindle (I have to say this — I work in the illustrated book biz! But I do think it’s true.)
Netflix > any other movie rental store
French press > drip
raisins > grapes
pickles > cucumbers
a 70-degree afternoon in the PNW > anywhere else in the world
bread bowl of clam chowder from Splash Cafe > Ivar’s or Duke’s chowder
Iron Man > Spider-Man
chocolate > vanilla
lilacs and lavender > roses
real butter > margarine
hugs > handshakes
cards delivered by mail > e-cards
tall, frosty mugs of beer > martinis
yoga > pilates
mints > gum
Disneyland > any other theme park
Parks & Rec > Community (though, Joel McHale > Chris Pratt)
cool mornings > hot nights
yellow and gray > brown and blue
e-mail > text message
Lee > Crystal
backyard barbecues > dinners out on the town
thin-crust > thick-crust
So, You Think You Can Dance (it’s coming back next week!) > Dancing With The Stars
singing in the car > singing in the shower
a sandwich made by Roth > a sandwich made by me
donuts > cinnamon rolls
intentions > regrets
seeing my son happy > everything

Have a great weekend, all!

I love! this list. (And you, of course.)

“tall, frosty mugs of beer > martinis” Heck yes x infinity.

I can’t believe I forgot to list books being far more awesome than the Kindle, even though fine, I will admit the Kindle is probably great for travel. It’s still not the same! Won’t ever be the same! I shall want to turn pages until the date I die! Heh.

Also, Netflix totally wins. Oh, and speaking of! I watched another episode of Dexter last night and I totally LAUGHED. And not in a “Ha. Ha. Ha. This is so creepy. Ha. Ha.” sort of way either. Victory!

Great list! I can agree with most, but I still say that Montreal in the spring (warm days before the humidity kicks in) > a 70-degree afternoon in the PNW! ;o)

Also, I might have made Vahid watch this video like three times while exclaiming, “he’s SO cute! Look at how cute he is.”

    Ahem.
